Meet Thobeka and Senzi, sisters who run their own travel company

Two KwaZulu-Natal-born sisters teamed up to start their own a travel company that encourages young people to travel and explore their cities.

Thobeka and Senzelwa Mthembu run The Lived Experience, Briefly.co.za learned. It's a digital platform that features a blog and YouTube channel.

According to Twitter page @SheSouthAfrica, the sisters share their lived experiences and spark conversations about lifestyle and travel through their platform.

Thobeka previously worked as a Senior Content Producer for V-News before resigning to pursue this entrepreneurial idea. She wants to see more women being entrepreneurial:

Be fearless and don't be afraid to carve out your own destinies in any industry — our time to disrupt is now.

Senzelwe doubles up as a researcher at the University of Johannesburg. She and Thobeka also founded Curate It ZA, which specialises in content creation.

The sisters, who are more popularly known as Thobi and Senzi, have already built up a combined total of over 10,000 followers on Twitter. They also have close to 350 subscribers on YouTube.
