- No matter the difficulties she has been facing, she has not let it impact her work
Lerato Kganyago has been putting on a brave face as she struggles with the loss of a loved one and looking after her mom in hospital, but she is not letting it stop her career.
The former beauty queen has been making a name for herself as a DJ and TV personality, recently landed the opportunity to host Project Runway SA which has debuted in Mzansi earlier this year.
While she is still trying to deal with the pain she feels, Lerato is still thankful for the chance the show’s producers gave her.
In a post on social media, Lerato opened up about how emotional the last two weeks have been for her.
Lerato revealed that she had to bury someone very close to her, while also having to look after her mom who has just been admitted to hospital.
Not to mention, Project Runway SA has drawn to a close after announcing the winner of the first season.
Despite her success, Lerato has been going through the most and she has found it hard to cope with her personal issues while being in the spotlight.
Briefly.co.za learned that the TV personality suffered a miscarriage in 2015 and she has been devastated by the news that she is unable to have children, so she has devoted all of her energy into work.
The starlet has also had a very strained relationship with her father, which only recently has been resolved.
Lerato always felt distant from her father, but it worsened after he didn’t visit her in hospital after she had lost her baby.
She has been holding a grudge against her father since, but she chose to forgive him so that she could move on with her life, but also to try to make amends with him.
