There are just some types of music that grasp your soul and bring you to life. Simphiwe Dana is one of those artists who produce medicine through music. Her sound has healed the hearts of many and revived life in others.

She showed us the power of her word with her debut album ‘Zandisile’. Her songs are filled with purpose and speak for those who no longer have the power to.

Dana is one of Mzansi’s musical blessings and we cannot wait to hear her new album.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Dana has been working extremely hard on this one. She told Destiny magazine that the album has been a roller-coaster of emotions, hard work and so much love.

Even though she feels physically and mentally drained, Dana is ‘still busy writing’, reported ZAlebs.
