Politicians in Africa are known to live luxurious lives, and this good life is also extended to their kids.
However, due to the public positions of their parents, kids of politicians are often expected to live a life free of scandal so as not to affect the family name.
Recently, former president, Robert Mugabe’s son, Chatunga Bellarmine, made the news for wrong reasons.
The young man was spotted with a pole dancer, Zoey Sifelani, and there have been speculations about the nature of their relationship.
However, in an interview with iHarare, the controversial performer shared some details about her relationship with the son of the former president.
According to her, she was performing at a lounge and Mugabe Jnr spotted her and couldn’t resist her charm. She further revealed that he approached her after her performance and they took some photos together.
She said: “The photos were taken during my show in Pretoria. I charmed him and we had to pose for photos backstage”.
Zoey also explained that she found Chatunga to be a bold man because only courageous men could “come out in the open and confess”.
However, the dancer did not disclose whether she and the former president’s son still kept in touch after their meeting backstage.
Robert Jr also launched his own clothing label which, according to News24, will be "competitive on the international scene".
xGx, as the brand is called, sells T-shirts and neck chains at inviting prices. The male T-shirt costs $300 (£226), but that of females is on the high side might put you off $250 (£187).
In November, Robert Jr and his younger brother, Chtatunga, launched an entertainment company called TripLife. American-Nigerian musician, Jidenna, was invited to perform at their debut event in a nightclub in Harare after Nigerian artiste Tekno cancelled his performance.
