Old but gold: Throwback video of Nene's chair breaking during interview resurfaces

A video resurfaced on social media which showed Nhlahla Nene's chair breaking during an interview.

On Tuesday, a video started circulating on social media which showed the Finance minister's chair breaking while he was busy with an interview on SABC 2.

The video was shared on Twitter by social media user @Sentletse, who simply captioned the post: "Nene about to fall!"

The video sparked quite the reaction on social media and tweeps were left in stitches. So, Briefly.co.za decided to take a look at some of the reactions.

Thula Sikhulume, who goes by the Twitter handle @Iam_STK, commented: "The lord will not welcome you in heaven."
Ephraim Sedumedi, @ephraimse, added: "Nhlanhla will never work for Nene this time. His out!!"
Zack, @Zack_here, wrote: "Imagine if ene ele Khulubuse a weleng.....Earthquake."

Earlier Briefly.co.za reported Nene opened up about former president Jacob Zuma sacking him in 2015.

It was the first time Nene spoke about his removal back then, and he believes Zuma fired him because he refused to tow the line in respect of certain projects involving the Nuclear Deal and the SAA strategy.
