- Rapper Emtee believes that people disrespect him because of his openness
- He is brutally honest with his followers on social media, but he thinks that it may be to a fault
- Now, Emtee plans on ignoring all his haters and only focusing on the positives in his life
Emtee has always been open about what is going on in his life and it seems that his honesty is starting to work against him.
The rapper has noticed that people have been quite rude to him and he believes it’s because he doesn’t try to hide his personal struggles.
With all of his dirty laundry out in the open, many people think that they know him and can judge him for all of his mistakes, but the rapper admits that there is still so much more to him.
Emtee has been battling drug addiction and has only cleaned up his act recently.
He decided to finally get help after he collapsed on stage during a show and the rapper believes that was the best decision he has ever made.
However, the ‘Ngeke’ hitmaker is still adamant that his fall on stage had nothing to do with his drug habits, instead it was caused by a loose wire and exhaustion.
According to TimesLIVE, Emtee has decided to lay low on social media for a bit and he will no longer be paying any attention to what haters are saying.
Emtee also revealed that with the amount of negativity he receives, he loses focus on all the blessings he has in life and gets distracted from everything that is going right for him. But he is changing that.
Since he has sobered up, the rapper admits that he now has more control over his life and he puts a lot of thought into his actions.
But Briefly.co.za learned that he still believes that his honesty with his fans was a mistake, but now he is more mature and a bit wiser, so he will put more thought into what he shares on social media.
