The security guard who won a whopping R64million Powerball jackpot recently says he will finally marry the woman of his dreams thanks to the win.

The man, whose identity remains secret, told eNCA that he paid lobola for his girlfriend seven years ago. However, he never had enough money for a wedding.

The lucky man lives in Cape Town but is originally from Limpopo, Briefly.co.za gathered. He and his girlfriend have two children.

Besides the wedding, the man also plans to send his kids to better schools and establish his own soccer team. He added:

I want to buy a house for my family, since I didn't grow up very well. My mother was a single mother, so I don't want my kids to suffer what I went through in my childhood.

As Briefly.co.za earlier reported, the overnight multimillionaire promptly resigned his job as a security guard once he confirmed his winnings.

He was in Limpopo for his brother's lobola negotiations when his girlfriend called him to inform him of the win.

He spent around R60 every week on the game of chance since he started playing in 1998. He never gave up despite not winning anything substantial.

His other plans include purchasing a Mercedes-Benz, starting a business, and investing the rest of the money. He also plans to help others in need.
