Maimane pointed out despite overwhelming evidence against the former water and sanitation minister, the ANC kept her on the cabinet.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday, Maimane shared his views on Mokonyane, he also gave a plan to reduce the record high fuel prices.

"Without a state capture enquiry, there is clear evidence of leadership failure on the part of the min. Yet she is still in the bloated cabinet of the ANC. Let’s cut cabinet to 15 ministries, allocate money to reduction of fuel levy.Every cent must be spent 4 the people.#fireHer," he captioned the post.
