Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been shortlisted among the four managers contending for the Premier League manager of the month.
The Citizens won all four English topflight encounters in September under review and scored 12 goals in the process while conceding just once in the entire month.
Other managers in contention for the prestigious prize are Arsenal boss Unai Emery, Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool) and Wolverhampton Wanderers Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Gunners boss in spite of starting the season on a poor note turned the tide around and achieved a 100 per cent record in September with victories over Cardiff City, Newcastle United, Everton and Watford.
Wolves forced Manchester United to a draw at Old Trafford while claiming maximum points in all other three points in the month in review.
Jurgen Klopp also continued his impressive run in the English topflight as they won three games and drawn one as they currently rank second on the log with 19 points.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri was nominated for this month's Premier League manager of the month.
The Italian born tactician replaced Antonio Conte as the head coach of the club and has been impressive in his side's start to the 2018-19 EPL campaign.
His side kicked off their season with a 3-0 victory over Bournemouth away from home, after which they beat Arsenal and Newcastle United in their second and third games respectively.
