Prophet Patrick Kaunda reportedly heals people who are possessed by demons by trapping the evil spirits in his bible.

According to Kaunda, he prays for people who are possessed, and once he says the prayers, the demons leaves the hosts bodies. The religious leader added he then traps the spirit in his bible.

The Daily Sun reported Kauna, who hails from Vosloorus in Ekurhuleni, only uses one verse, Matthew 8: 28-31, in the bible to get rid of the demons.

Kauna said he only uses the scripture to send the demons back to hell because they fear the word of God.

Briefly.co.za learned Kauna said once he exorcised the demon, the evil spirit is gone for good. According to the prophet, the demons "block prayers and blessings and cause people to be self-destructive."

Kauna added God gifted each person with talents and the evil spirits prohibit people from reaching their full potential.

A couple of people has since came forward to testify in favour of the prophet.

Gloria Sithole said, “I used to say things I couldn’t understand, and the prophet told me it was the demon inside me."
