If there’s was ever an award for the most dramatic transformation of a South African celebrity, Khanyi Mbau will definitely win that award. Nonetheless, the star is never afraid or embarrassed to share old pictures of herself.

It was an old picture of the presenter that got Twitter user’s tongues wagging recently. On Thursday, Khanyi shared a throwback picture of herself.

You would be forgiven for mistaken her for someone else. Khanyi barely resembles the person in the photo she shared.

She captioned it:

“#tbt no amount of money can give you genuine happiness!! The past the creation of my present…”

Tweeps were quick to share their own TBT pics of the celeb:

She shared another throwback photo, paying tribute to the day she got her first Porsche. Khanyo captioned it: “Flash back Friday to me at 18... my first Porsche , my first sport.”

But fans were quick to defend her:
