Social media has been abuzz since users noticed that Sophie Ndaba had lost a dramatic amount of weight, while she is used to haters, the actress revealed that her family are having a hard time ignoring their comments.
Sophie Ndaba has come under fire recently after social media users noticed that she had lost a lot of weight, however the actress revealed that haters have started harassing her family about it too.
Sophie recently revealed that she has been living with diabetes for some time, but to help her control her condition, the actress decided to adopt a far more healthier lifestyle.
Social media users have been criticising her weight loss, but the actress stands firm that it is all a result of her new diet and exercise regime to help her keep her diabetes in check.
The actress is used to the negativity, but she was dismayed to learn that trolls had also been targeting her husband, Max, because of her condition.
One troll went as far as to say that Sophie should take an HIV test.
TimesLIVE reports that on another occasion, a woman contacted Max to ask him what it was like to wake up next to Sophie every morning, because they felt that she was scary to look at.
Briefly.co.za learned that Sophie is doing her best to ignore the negativity and that her family have been her biggest supporters throughout the process.
Earlier in the week, Sophie took to Instagram to slam those criticizing her about her choices and to educate them on the seriousness of her condition.
The actress revealed that both of her parents passed away from complications caused by diabetes, so she is doing her best to lead a better life for herself.
She also slammed the trolls for putting more pressure on other people who also share her struggle, because they are already dealing with so much, that they really don’t need to be hounded about the constant changes in their weight.
