Idols SA winner Paxton Fielies made a teen boy's dream come true when she accompanied him to his matric ball. 17-year-old Zaheer Adams burst into tears when he found out his idol would go with him.
The matric dance is a big deal for teenagers. Going with your favourite person is often the best part of the evening.
Zaheer Adams was given the treat of his young life when Paxton Fielies (18) was his date to his matric ball at Roosendal High School.
Paxton looked beautiful in a rose-gold dress and Zaheer looked like he was walking on clouds.
Brandon van der Vyfer from B-Styled SA had a helping hand in making this dream come true. For the past year, Zaheer was part of Brandon's mentorship programme. The stylist also dressed the excited teen in a 3-piece-suit.
The Daily Voice reports Paxton didn't think twice about being Zaheer's date. She was happy to see the Zaheer's speechless reaction when she arrived at his home.
I really didn’t expect this at all, everything else was amazing and having her as my partner was the cherry on top.
It was a big highlight for Paxton too because she never had her own matric ball.
I was so excited to be his partner, and especially surprising him. He cried when he saw me and this warmed my heart.
The adorable couple arrived at the matric ball in a red vintage 1958 Chevrolet Apache. Afterward, they went to the Skilpadvlei Wine Estate in Stellenbosch to take photos of the memorable evening.
