A 36-year-old Indian bus driver has been suspended after a video of him allowing a monkey on his steering wheel went viral.
On Saturday, a video of bus driver M Prakash went viral on social media, which showed him allowing a monkey behind his steering wheel.
Since the footage went viral, a spokesperson for the government's road transport corporation in southern Karnataka state told AFP confirmed Prakash has been suspended.
"Driver M Prakash has been taken off duty for allowing the monkey to sit on the steering wheel and handle it," TimesLIVE reported the spokesperson said.
The footage sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some finding it funny while others thought it was irresponsible of the Prakash.
