-The Brentford midfielder has been in impressive form and produced a man of the match display over the weekend
-Mokotjo was recalled for the Bafana Bafana double-header against Seychelles
Brentford midfielder, Kamohelo Mokotjo, has been in sparkling form of late for the Bees. The 27-year-old produced an eye-catching display as he was voted man of the match as his team drew to Leeds United over the weekend.
He boasted an 88.7 pass completion rate along with 6 successful duels and 2 tackles. Even more impressive is the fact that this was achieved following a tough spell as he hasn’t been receiving regular game time.
Mokotjo told Brenfordfc.com that he’s been working hard off the pitch to warrant a regular starting berth.
He said “I haven’t gotten to play a lot of games, so I’ve just been working hard to get into the team and today I think all the hard work paid off but I still need to keep working hard and be consistent with my performances. So, I’m just happy with this one, and I’m really appreciative of starting this game.”
He further went on to say “It’s always an honor and, going back after playing such a good game, I think will say something to the national team coach too.”
Bafana Bafana face the Seychelles in a double-header this month with the first contest taking place on Saturday.
