-Junior could join 3 other South Americans at the Brazilians
Mamelodi Sundowns are affectionately known as the Brazilians. Their recent recruitment policy now seems to indicate the club are keeping tabs on young talent from Brazil as well.
Kickoff.com reported that Nathan Junior is a Brazilian youngster currently on trial at the club’s training base in Chloorkop.
Coach Pitso Mosimane revealed that he first became aware of Junior when the club were scouting Ricardo Nascimento, who was playing for Coimbra in the Portuguese league at the time.
Mosimane said "We are looking at him. We will not make a decision now. We are not really under pressure to make a decision. We will look at him. He is a good player. I saw him when we recruited Ricardo”.
He added “I went to Portugal to watch Ricardo and he was playing against Ricardo. He did well." If offered a contract, Junior would benefit from fellow South American company in the form of Jose Ali Meza and Gaston Sirino. Meza hails from Venezuela and the latter from Uruguay.
