Kaizer Chiefs coach, Giovanni Solinas, is determined to manage the workloads of key men, Willard Katsande and Khama Billiat.
Kickoff.com reported that The Amakhosi boss values 32-year-old, Willard Katsande, but realizes the importance of having a plan B.
The player joined the Glamour Boys in 2011 and has been an ever-present star in their midfield.
"Katsande is very important in the team. He's a legend for Kaizer Chiefs and I respect Katsande. He is very important for me, very important for the club, very important for his teammates” Solinas said.
He also added "But Katsande doesn't have to play every game. If you checked the midfielders that played, Katsande is number one, but it's not possible. I need to prepare the plan B when Katsande is suspended, when he's tired, when Katsande is injured. So we also need this”.
The coach is similarly managing the workload of Absa premiership player of the month, Khama Billiat. Solinas revealed "I try to reduce the minutes for Billiat. For example I pulled out Billiat against AmaZulu. I pulled Billiat out against Free State Stars ... I'm trying you know to rest Billiat.”
Solinas recently highlighted the squad depth at his disposal and this has seemingly helped him with his rotation policy.
