The People's Bae and Ndletyana spoke about the future of then finance minister, Nhlanhla Nene, and it was obvious that they had different views on the situation.

Tension ran high and the two men argued in front of all South Africans on live TV. The EFF's deputy head, Floyd Shivambu, took to Twitter to share a snippet of the ordeal.

He captioned the post: "This Professor sounds like a hired gun, and completely lost it when he’s exposed that he’s defending Liars."

Shivambu's post sparked quite the reaction on Twitter and Briefly.co.za decided to gather some of the best responses to the heated TV appearance.

Social media user @therealkingSA wrote, "I would maybe have agreed with you, but the Dr denied the professor a chance to finish whatever he was going to say...so we will never know."
Another tweep, @GrantSon1, added: "The Professor was becoming aggressive and allowed the debate to deteriorate with @MbuyiseniNdlozi because he was unable to rebut the statement on lies:-) lol lay a charge of intimidation bra @MbuyiseniNdlozi lol."
