Du Preez wrote despite Nene's lie about meeting with the Guptas, he was sad to see him resign as the finance minister.

"I'm personally sad to see Nhlanhla Nene go. Despite his lie on the Gupta visits, he was a capable minister of integrity and wisdom. We all owe him for blocking the Russian nuke deal that cost him his job the first time round," he wrote.

The EFF believed they played a major part in the removal of Nene. Earlier Briefly.co.za reported EFF national chairman Advocate Dali Mpofu believes his party is largely responsible for the current state of political affairs in South Africa.

So, it was no surprise that Juju had something to say on du Preez's post. Malema told the author he should wait and see when they take the land back.

However, local YouTuber Renaldo Gouws said Malema and his party put pressure on ministers who met with the Guptas, but he would not have been any different.
