On Tuesday, a man took to social media to share the inspiring story of his gardener and househelp's son's graduation, which he dubbed a 'great day' for their family.
Nigel MK Chanakira took to Twitter on Tuesday to share the story of a young man, who graduated despite not growing up privileged.
"Today marks of a great day in our family’s life. I’m almost in tears with joy. To be capped @ the University of Zimbabwe with an economics degree is our househelp and gardner/driver’s son, Tinashe Msengi. Won’t you help us praise the Lord for His faithfulness!" he captioned a photo of the happy family.
Briefly.co.za gathered the story inspired social media users, who praised the family for giving their son the best possible life.
Social media user @fatso4real commented: "That is great. I don't believe in nepotism, but just for him Mr Chanakira, don't let this boy stay unemployed!"
Another tweep, @eshonge, added: "It’s obviously inspiration shared, inspiration admired. Thank you and we all can’t help everyone, but just helping one goes a long way. Congrats. I’m just hoping he isn’t Liverpool."
