Giovanni Solinas has pledged urgency and focus ahead of Kaizer Chiefs’ encounter against Black Leopards.
The Glamour Boys take on Lidoda Duvha in the Telkom Knockout tournament later this month and Solinas, their coach, has vowed that his charges will be well prepared.
Having last tasted silverware in 2015, Solinas is well aware that supporters are keen for the club to break the mini drought.
IOL reported that Solinas will not be taking Leopards lightly at all. Their last cup encounter together saw Leopards causing a huge upset in the Nedbank Cup in 2015.
Solinas said, "We will try our best to do well and win the trophy. We have to do it for the fans, to quench the long trophy thirst at Naturena. I'm positive we will do well."
Chiefs have been in inspired form of late with Solinas crowned coach of the month for September. The Amakhosi currently find themselves third on the PSL log.
The contest will take place on 21st October at the FNB Stadium.
