- Brian Tshimangadzo has an Honours degree in mining
- Joblessness forced him onto the streets with a sign asking for a job
- A company has since offered him training to boost his CV
The jobless graduate who was pictured on a Sandton street recently with a sign asking for a job has received a boost in his job search.
As Briefly.co.za reported, pictures of Brian Tshimangadzo begging for a job went viral on social media. He indicated that he has an Honours degree in Mining Geo SACE.
One of those who helped publicise Brian's plight is Rameez Lorgat, who shared a photo of himself and Brian after buying him coffee.
As a result of Rameez's post, Brian was able to receive training at Sandton-based Micromine Africa, a company that offers mining solutions.
Sharon Botha, whose husband works at Micromine Africa, posted a picture of Brian receiving his training certificate alongside other trainees.
According to Sharon, Brian's training was titled, "World's Leading Mining Software." She added that this will greatly boost his CV.
Good Things Guy reports that Brian is even more hopeful now of landing a job soon thanks to kind social media users who have given him much-needed publicity.
