Floyd Shivambu has been linked to the tragic looting of the VBS Mutual Bank but it looks like he doesn't have to worry about his place in the EFF.

Malema will reportedly not be suspending Shivambu while an investigation into the allegations is pending.

According to a report by TimesLIVE, Malema sees the allegations as a way for enemies of the EFF to attack them. He shared a tweet on Thursday night:

Remain vigilant and focus fighters; the enemy is attacking.

In the meantime, Shivambu's younger brother Brian plans to take those behind the investigative report that named him as a benefactor from the bank's money to court, according to an earlier report by Briefly.co.za.

This comes after the EFF is also accused of receiving money unlawfully from VBS Mutual Bank.
