Kanye West lands in Africa to record music for his new album

Kanye West has been talking about getting back to his roots, and well he has touched down in Uganda with his family in tow.

The rapper has admitted that he has been struggling to complete his album, ‘Yandhi’ and thought that a trip to Africa will help to clear his head as well as get the creativity flowing.

'Yandhi' was scheduled to be released in November, but that date has changed since he ran into trouble with coming up with new music.

Shortly after arriving at Entebbe International Airport, Kanye took to Twitter to share a clip of a new song he has been working on. It seems that Africa’s energy has already started to work its magic.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Yeezy is determined to become one with nature and will also be recording his music outdoors.

According to TimesLIVE, Kanye has become quite the family man and thought that it was imperative for him to be able to work on his album with his kids around.

In another video he shared on Twitter, Kanye and family seem to already be enjoying the whole outdoors thing.

After a recent outburst at the White House, maybe a change of scenery is the best thing for the rapper, especially since the whole world has been concerned about his mental state of late.
