Nambitha Ben-Mazwi completely slaying her big role in Diamond City

- After taking a break from our screens, Namnitha is back

- She has scooped a lead role in Diamond City as a big shot lawyer

- The show premiered on Sunday and will run till January 2019

Its excitement all the way for everyone waiting with abated breath for Nambitha Ben-Mazwi to return to out television sets tonight. She will be starring in the all-new 13 part drama series, Diamond City.

The show is one of a legal and prison nature and Nambitha takes on the role of Benathi Zwide. learnt that the character is a timid natured person but when it comes to her job as a lawyer she is audacious and no case is too big for her. She has just been admitted to the bar and found herself taking on high profile cases.

The title of the series, Diamond City, is the name of the prison, situated on the border of Johannesburg. It houses some of the most dangerous female prisoners. The story line is based on two very different life styles with one been as dark and intricate as the other.

It’s about a town where the people hold the law in the highest regard. As we all know there is always bribery and those wanting more. The series shows who people fall into those traps and changes who they are.

From being a good abiding citizen to turning into monsters that will ultimately find themselves in Diamond City should they be caught.

Nambitha commented that the cast, with no doubt, will keep viewers glued to their TV sets and on the edge of their seats. She said that is something that the audience has never seen before and will be excited to see the following episode.

The series has a studded cast and crew with the likes of veteran actress Noxee Maqashalala and is supported by Angela Sithole, Lehlohonolo Makoko, and Thabang Molaba.

Nambitha did a lot of research for her new role so she able to come across to the viewers in the most believable way possible. She said that it is an amazing journey and playing the part of a criminal law attorney was most satisfying for her.
