Prince Harry and Megan Markle have embarked on their first trip abroad after confirming that they will be expecting their first child together.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently in Sydney, Australia and we can’t help but notice that Megan is starting to show her baby bump.
The royal couple were rumoured to be having a baby, but now it is official, and the word has spread like wildfire.
During their meeting with the Governor-General of Australia, Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife, the couple were gifted with new shoes and toys for the baby on the way.
Prince Harry seemed delighted to receive the Ugg boots from Cosgrove and his wife, so there might be a scuffle about who gets to keep them.
Megan was also given a kangaroo toy, which she announced was the first gift that they had gotten for their little bundle of joy and it certainly won’t be their last.
Once the Duke and Duchess are finished their tour of Australia, they will then move on to Fiji, New Zealand and Tonga.
It has been advised that Megan stay away from Fiji and Tonga due to the outbreak of the Zika virus, but she has decided to carry on with the rest of their tour.
According to the BBC, Prince Harry thanked everyone who took the time to meet with them and they couldn’t think of a better place to announce to the public that Megan was expecting.
Briefly.co.za learned that the Duchess payed homage to Prince Harry’s late mother, Princess Diana by wearing a pair of earrings and a bracelet that used to belong to her.
E! News reports that Megan’s dress was designed by an Australian designer, Karen Gee who was thrilled to have the chance to have dress the Duchess, especially when she had such exciting news to announce.
Congrats to the royal couple!
