Lumko Johnson sets his sights on a Netflix series about his life

Actor and presenter, Lumko Johnson is setting his sights higher as he plans to move his popular YouTube series to Netflix. The former YoTV presenter shared the good news with his fans on social media.

According to Lumko, the series, Quote Unquote is based on his darkest time. The show is loosely based on his life, but some incidents had to be exaggerated for dramatic effect.

TimesLIVE reports that after the success of the series' first season, Lumko was approached by sites like Netflix.

While the deal still needs to be signed with Netflix, Lumko is confident the show will soon hit our screens.

I think that it tells a different story to what we have seen before. It is the everyday story of life but told through the perspective of a queer person.
But having said that, it is not an LGBTI series, it is about young people trying to navigate their lives around love and career and family.
