Katlego Danke adorns our TV screens not only with her beauty but with remarkable talent. Mzansi is fortunate to have such a cherished actress.
Born in North West, this gorgeous star is famous for the role she played as Dineo Mashaba on Generations. She starred in this soapie for almost nine years and winning various awards along the way, one been Best Actress Award in 2010.
Briefly.co.za learnt that her life before Generations came along was filled with studying a B.A. degree in Theatre Performance and Gender Studies from the University of Cape Town. She also performed in various theatre productions.
Not only has Katlego starred in TV series and theatre, she has also appeared in commercials for Clover, Honda and Vanish products.
It is great to see a woman with such a tiny body, build her career into a huge success. She is responsible for giving out the winning numbers for Powerball.
After leaving Generations, Katlego, now 39-years-old, gave birth to a baby boy in 2017. She also filled her time with presenting shows.
With Katlego been a go getter, her career did not end with Generations. She has successfully gained other roles and plays Kgothalo on Isidingo.
Even though Katlego is loved by so many, she has successfully kept her private life out of the media.
Katlego is also very involved in charity work. She gives up her spare time to charities including the Johannesburg Children’s Home, the Abram Kriel Children’s Home just to name a few.
She also heads HIV campaigns and presents many motivational talks to the youth throughout the country.
