eTV’s soapie Scandal! has a newcomer. Mpho Sibeko has joined the stellar cast and will make his debut on 9 November.

This 24-year-old is a familiar face on our tv screens, playing roles in the sitcom Gauteng Maboneng and the soapie Rhythm City. Sibeko was also part of the cast of Gold Diggers in 2015.

Briefly.co.za learnt that the character he will be playing is that of a charming young pastor.

His character is a bit of a rebel causing chaos among a few of inconspicuous characters. The pastor goes by the name of Samson Ngema, Mlungisi Ngema’s nephew.

Samson is very ambitious and spiritual. He is able to have conversations with the younger generation. This allows him to understand their concerns and the pressures which they face on the daily.

With his manipulative and convincing way, he draws in everyone that shows an interest in faith and church. Having said that, he has an eerie dark side. This is what makes his character so intriguing.
