Father of 7 plans to live the dream following R1.1 million lotto win

A dad, who hails from Joubertina in the Eastern Cape, struck luck when the R8 lotto ticket he purchased the winning numbers.

A father of seven was forced to live with his sister and her kids in an one bedroom apartment because he could not afford a place of his own.

However, he got lucky after he won R1 135 259 in the Sportstake 13, Maroela Media reported.

According to the man, he learned about the Sportstake 13 from his neighbour and decided to give it a try, since he already spent about R250 a month on lotto tickets.

Briefly.co.za learned the man now plans on getting his own place. He said he always imagined how it would be to wake up in his own home with his children- and now it could be a reality.

The report stated the dad has been unemployed since February and he sometimes do jobs for a company on contract basis.

He added he wanted to stay anonymous but most people in his hometown already knows about his winnings because of the local papers.
