Mlindo The Vocalist: People said I was too shy for the industry

There isn't much doubt that Mlindo The Vocalist is one of the biggest music stars in South Africa right now, but many people thought he wouldn't make it.

This is because they thought the AmaBlesser hitmaker was too shy for the music industry despite his obvious talent, gathered.

Mlindo, whose real name is Lindokuhle Mgedezi, told TshisaLIVE that naysayers thought the industry would break him.

He therefore worked on his confidence and has emerged as a major force in Mzansi's entertainment circuit. His on-stage confidence is especially impressive:

It is who I am. When I am off stage I don't talk as much but when I perform, I feel it. I am just sharing how I feel through my music.

Mlindo explained that his main motivation is not really fame, but simply singing and providing for his family in the process.

He said although others wish to succeed by being "loud and demanding," he chose to let his skills and talent speak for him. This has definitely worked for him so far.
