- A viral video shows a group of gogos dancing to a DJ Maphorisa hit song
- They are seen trying to do the vosho dance, albeit with help from their walking sticks
- The video has warmed South Africans' hearts
A group of fun-loving gogos recently proved that age is indeed just a number by literally doing a "walking stick vosho" dance.
DJ Maphorisa recently shared a video of the gogos dancing to his hit song, iWalk Ye Phara, Briefly.co.za gathered.
The music was blaring from a minibus taxi's sound system at an undisclosed location. It got the elderly women rolling back the years and proving that even the vosho isn't beyond them.
The video has gone viral, warming the hearts of thousands of South Africans in the process. It has racked up over 17,000 views so far.
One commenter wrote, "This is so cute! Abomama bethu (our mothers) are so lit!"
Another one said, "This is de most advanced vosho I have ever seen. Youths, we're been beaten by abomama.
These party-loving gogos prove that South Africa is certainly not a dull place to be.
The vosho dance has indeed taken the country by storm. Recently, Briefly.co.za reported on a video showing a heavily pregnant lady doing the dance perfectly.
