When celebs start dating, we as the fans get super emotionally invested in their relationship. So, when they breakup, we feel it too. The news that Proverb and Liesl Laurie have decided to go their separate ways, has broken many hearts.

The two were together for three years and were definitely one of Mzansi’s favourite couples. It took a while for them to come out about their relationship, but when they did, fans were over the moon.

It was the Sunday Sun that spilled the beans on the bad news. Liesl confirmed the breakup and stated that they just did not see 'eye to eye'.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Liesl was reluctant to discuss the situation and did not want the breakup to go public.

The two were #CoupleGoals and the breakup has really come as a shock to all. We were never ready for this kind of heartbreak.
