Skinny Sbu got scolded by his mom after 'arrogant' interview

The man behind Skinny Sbu Socks recently had Mzansi talking when he almost arrogantly said he doesn't need advice, he needs R5 million. He admitted later that his mom called him and he's no longer angry.

We all know that feeling - you messed up and your mom heard about it. Next thing you know, you're feeling like that twelve-year-old who accidentally broke the neighbour's window.

There's something about mothers that give them the power to make you feel like a misbehaved child no matter how old you are or what you achieved.

That's why Skinny Sbu has our deepest sympathies. The self-proclaimed number one entrepreneur in South Africa recently got a 'talk' from his mom after his behaviour during an interview was seen as arrogant.

He did say that he's okay now and no longer angry, so she probably didn't go too hard on him but talked to him like only a mother can.

Sbu had tongues wagging when he said he did not need any advice, he just needs R5 million to take his business, Skinny Sbu Socks, forward.

This comes after it has been said that Skinny Sbu socks are a failing business. Sbu, however, remains adamant that his business is not failing at all.

Well, whether he needs advice or not, we wish the young entrepreneur the best. He certainly has enough sass to make it in the tough business world out there.
