The disabled elderly woman, who was the victim of racial abuse on a Ryanair flight, has finally spoken up about the ordeal.
A 77-year-old pensioner, who was identified as Delsie Gayle, was on the receiving end of a man's racism on board a Ryanair flight.
The man threw a temper tantrum because he did not want to sit next to the gogo, whom he dubbed an "ugly black b***ard".
As Briefly.co.za reported previously, a video of the incident was posted online and it sparked outrage amongst social media users.
According to ABC news, Gayle was on her way home after she enjoyed a holiday in Spain with her daughter to mark the anniversary of her hubby's death.
However, her lovely holiday came to a horrible end when the man went on a racist rant.
Speaking about the incident, Gayle told ITV she was "shocked" since it was the first time someone said those words to her.
She added she felt depressed and low because of the way the man acted towards her based on her skin colour.
Her daughter, who was seen defending her mom on the plane, added she was disappointing in the way Ryanair handled the situation.
"Nothing was done, he wasn't moved and we've not had an apology, nothing," she said.
