Vusi Nova released his fourth studio album earlier this year and Mzansi just can’t get enough of it. After the major success of his first single off of ‘Manyan-Nyan’, it’s not surprising that the entire album has reached gold status.
The muso has been in the music industry for a good few years, but he has never seen his music take off as quickly as it is doing right now.
‘As’phelelanga’ is the first single off of the album and it is already doing major things in Mzansi.
The track has received a lot of air time on radio stations across the country and it has become one Vusi’s most requested song to perform at gigs.
Briefly.co.za learned that while the song has become a huge hit at parties and shows, the track has a deeper meaning behind it.
According to ZAlebs, ‘As’phelelanga’ is dedicated to all of the musicians that have passed away in recent years. Many served as an inspiration to Vusi, so he thought it was only fitting to honour them in his music.
With the single’s runaway success, it’s not surprising that ‘Manyan-Nyan’ has done so well.
