Media personality Moshe Ndiki has been left emotional by his dad's unwavering support for him being gay.

The popular Uyang'thanda Na host took to Twitter to share screenshots of a WhatsApp chat he had with his dad recently, Briefly.co.za gathered.

In the chat, Moshe pretended that he has a boyfriend and that he is coming over from Scotland to visit him in December. He then broached the idea of introducing him to the family.

Moshe's dad responded that it "would be a great idea" for him to see his son-in-law. Moshe was left emotional by his dad's response:

We have never really spoke about dating and me being gay. So I was just testing the waters and this was his reply. Is it weird that I feel like crying? Like both my parents are fully supportive.

Tweeps were similarly touched and Moshe's tweet racked up over 3,000 likes. Many of them said the entertainer is really lucky to have such a supportive dad and family.
