Everyone entering talent shows have to hope of winning. Minenhle Dlamini entered such a show which paved her way into the entertainment industry.

The 28-year-old, born in Durban, won the show to host LIVE, a music show on SABC.

In 2011, Minnie joined Wild. This accelerated her career making way for her to star in Rockville. This in turn made her able to adapt as an entertainer. She landed several TV roles making her a household name.

Minnie became an accomplished host where she hosted events like Miss South Africa, Homeground, SoccerZone only to name a few.

It has been an amazing 8 years for Minnie and she has certainly found her way into many fans hearts.

Minnie’s personality is one of a bubbly, loving persona. She has acquired more than 5.5 million followers and has been given the nick-name of South Africa’s diamond.

It is not only her personality but her beauty and fashion sense that has drawn so many fans. Minnie is in the top ranks with regards to Instagram celebrity.

Joining the likes of Pearl Thusi and DJ Zinhle, Minnie heads the Minnie Dlamini Foundation. The foundation is responsible for aiding children across the country with good education opportunities.

Minnie’s dominance in the sports presenting arena, could stem from that fact that she was very involved with sport while attending school. Her love for sport had her playing various games which included tennis, netball and touch rugby.

Minnie has achieved to boost the femininity in the world of sport. She stands on the same platform as Carol Tshabalala the ‘First lady of sport’.

The mark she has made in the sports world has seen Minnie become the first woman featured on the cover of Kick Off Magazine.

It is so refreshing to see a celebrity that has a career and a personal life that has no reason for shame.

The only issue that the public had was her extravagant wedding to her husband Quinton Jones.
