KB admitted that even when things looked to be going amazing, it didn't really reflect in her bank account.

The gorgeous actress was part of Backstage, had an international film released and a brand new album with her name on it but none of it meant instant wealth.

KB was interviewed on MetroFM and told Rams Mabote that fame didn't result in fortune for her like you'd think it would.

So, it was the album, it was Backstage and it was the movie Ali - they all launched at the same time. But it didn't translate into fortune at all, and that is why I thought to myself 'I cannot, I cannot keep doing this. I have to stop and re-look at this, rework and start over. So, from this point, yeah.

In fact, KB revealed she was actually broke at one point, according to a report by ZAlebs.

Just after she finished her work on Backstage, she had a financial slump even after all her hard work and the time she spent on the soapie's set.

But the immensely talented actress has since grown and achieved major success, so we're sure she now has the fortune to go with her fame.
