Scandal's Mpho Sibeko claps back at rumours that he's arrogant

Mpho Sibeko joined Scandal's crew as Mlungisi Ngema’s nephew, pastor Samson Ngema and reckons viewers are going to enjoy what he brings to the storyline. Samson is expected to wreak havoc.

However, the young actor wants people to know he's really not conceited or full himself even if it may look that way.

According to a report by TimesLIVE, Mpho is surprised that people accuse him of acting like a "typical celeb".

He says he's not like that, he just likes to keep to himself.

If I enter a space and there is no one I know, I will keep myself company.

Mpho was affected by people's accusations before they even tried talking to him, but he doesn't worry about it too much. He says those close to him know who he really is.

I don't dwell on it because people are allowed to have opinions about you. You can't change everyone's opinions. I am a realist. I am in touch with who I am. I don't have to put on a facade to please the next person.

Mpho is actually expecting lots of backlash from the new role he will be portraying. He comes to Scandal! after making a name for himself on Rhythm City and Gold Diggers.

We can't wait to see what pastor Samson Ngema will be getting up to.
