AKA launches tweeps into a frenzy with his Feel Good session

Earlier this week, AKA launched Twitter into a frenzy when he appeared on JR’s ‘Feel Good Live Sessions’ with a stripped back performance.

The rapper is known as one of the best live acts in Mzansi, but this time round his fans got to see him do things a bit differently.

Supa Mega usually puts on a spectacular show with TV screen and smoke machines, but for this performance, there was none of that. He actually remained seated for the whole thing!

AKA was accompanied by a live band who had rearranged his music to suit the more laid back vibe of the show.

While everything else about his music had been switched up for this performance, AKA decided that he would still like to keep the auto-tune feature in place, which some fans thought he could have done without.

Briefly.co.za learned that tweeps really appreciated the new take on the rapper’s music and they have been talking about his performance since it aired.

AKA’s ‘Feel Good Live Session’ is one of the most popular ones in the series and it began trending around the country shortly after it had been uploaded.

TimesLIVE reports that the rapper included some of his latest hits into his set, such as ‘Beyonce’, ‘Touch My Blood’ and ‘Don’t Forget to Pray’.
