As a pastor, Khaya Mthethwa felt the need to talk about church now that it has come to light that a trusted man abused his position.

Nigerian pastor Omotoso is accused of a number of charges that include sexual assault and human trafficking. Accused along with him are two women, Zukiswa Sitho and Lusanda Sulani.

This has put men of God that abuse their positions and scam innocent people under a microscope.

Khaya feels deep sympathy for the victims and asks that South Africans do not lose sight of God.

My heart goes out to the victims in the case.
As congregants, let us not lose sight of what we are at church for. We are not there for the pastor, we are there for God. If you have that perspective you can form your own relationship with God.
