The economy is in a technical recession, corruption seems to be everywhere and the petrol price is sky-high. It's undeniable - South Africans are going through a time. But instead of complaining about it, two South Africans chose to sing about it.

Despite South Africa being plagued by crime, corruption and chaos, South Africans have the wonderful ability to see humour in the darkness.

Actress Marissa Claasen and singer Thiart Li decided to sing about the issues South Africans face.

Their hilarious song is enough to cheer us up even as we tighten our belts during these tough times.
