A lot of pastors are apparently trying to cure HIV. Previously Briefly.co.za reported the infamous snake pastor gave his congregation dog meat and blood to consume, claiming it would heal them from HIV and cancer.

Now, another religious leader came forward with a way to beat the dreaded disease. Now, self-proclaimed prophet Walter Magaya's approach is not as drastic as the snake pastor's, but he guarantees it works.

In fact, Magaya, who preaches at the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries in Zimbabwe, claims his remedy is scientifically proven.

IOL reported Magaya claimed God revealed to him the cure, which is made of two plants, a couple of years ago, but he wanted to make sure it was "chemically and scientifically" tested before he said anything.

Magaya said the cure is made of a Zimbabwean plant, Aguma, and another plant which grows in Mozambique.

Briefly.co.za learned the prophet said his team was currently busy working on different dosages of the cure, which would cure various strains of HIV.

The prophet has confidence in his cure, adding he tested it on a number of HIV positive patients who were thereafter free of the virus.

“The government is free to summon our own research board and test this medicine for themselves. As for me, I’ve my own testimonies but people will listen to a minister rather than a mere prophet,” Magaya added.
