Zuma's pics with his fam have tweeps feeling nostalgic: We want him back

Former South African president Jacob Zuma has been living his best life since he stepped down as the head of state earlier this year.

Last week, one of Zuma's wives, Thobeka Stacy Mabhija, shared a couple of photos of their family on social media.

Mrs Zuma wrote how much she missed her hubby and how she and the kids can't wait to see Zuma again.

"Its not so much the goodbye that hurts but the flashbacks that follow....leaving us longing for another hello," Mabhija captioned the photos.

On Sunday, a tweep shared the same photos on Twitter and it left South Africans nostalgic, Briefly.co.za gathered.

Social media users pointed out how happy the former president looked after he stepped down and some even said they wanted him back.

Vuyokazi, who goes by the Twitter handle @VuyokaziK, commented: "He looks so happy.....i want him back , neva been so broke in my life."
Social media user @Bontle_AmoGee wrote, "Our yellowbone former president what a loss."
Another tweep, @MogorosiTshepo, added: "Legends General Nxqamza what a gu"

Since his retirement, Zuma has been enjoying life. Briefly.co.za previously reported the former head of state was photographed having fun with a 'kettie'.

Ubaba even made time to deliver a lecture at the North West University (NWU) last month. We look forward to see more post-presidency pics of Zuma.
