Zama has rubbished the claims by pointing out that she had never been fired from the radio station, but instead she left on her own terms.

She has admitted that she never felt the need to address these rumours as there was no evidence behind them, but she wanted to put the haters in their place.

The rumours also claimed that Zama was forced to attend a disciplinary hearing, which once again was not true. She revealed that she resigned because she wanted to move onto a new challenge, although she does have plans to one day return to radio.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that the radio personality will be returning to TV with a new show, ‘Leading Citizens’. The series was created by Zama and she aims to inspire Mzansi with the stories behind some of the country’s prominent public figures.

According to TimesLIVE, Zama is loving her new venture and has already been able to get exclusive interviews with former president Jacob Zuma and media personality Robert Marawa.
