US actor Michael B Jordan will be landing in Mzansi to promote his new film, ‘Creed II’ which is the follow up to the 2015 blockbuster of the same name.
Michael will be resuming his role as Adonis who is the son of Rocky Balboa’s former nemesis, Apollo Creed.
This time round, Adonis has found himself struggling to keep up as his personal and professional lives collide as old enemies come back for revenge.
With Rocky as his mentor, the boxer takes on the laborious task of preparing himself to take on a new opponent that has a close connection his family’s chequered past.
Sylvestor Stallone and some of the original cast members will be returning for the sequel which is set to be released in the next month.
Briefly.co.za learned that Michael, along with co-star Florian Munteanu and the film’s director Steven Caple Junior, will be heading to sunny South Africa next month to do a press tour before it comes out.
The Sowetan reports that fans of the actor will get a chance to meet him at an exclusive event for the film’s premiere at the end of the November.
