Police are currently searching for Nonhle Ndala, the wife of Sundowns midfielder, Andile Jali after he opened a case of assault against her.
Briefly.co.za previously reported that the soccer star was arrested on Monday night for domestic violence and for causing malicious damage to his wife’s car.
Andile was released on Tuesday after he appeared in court to face the charges that had been pressed against him, however, he has now opened his own case against Nonhle.
Yeroboam Mbatsane, a spokesperson for the Boschkop police station, has issued a statement that revealed that Andile was assaulted by his wife at their home and now the police are trying to track her down.
Mbatsane goes on to say that when Nonhle is found, the police will arrest her and bring her to justice.
The Sowetan reports that Andile was only arrested because of the damage he did to his wife’s car and for domestic violence. Mbatsane has revealed that no assault charges have been pressed against the soccer star at present.
Recently, the couple have been plagued by rumours of Andile’s drinking habits, however, Nonhle has brushed them off as a smear campaign.
The midfielder’s wife believed that the gossip was intended to ruin their marriage, but she assured the public that their relationship was stronger than ever.
