It was the battle of the TV personalities on Twitter earlier this week as Anele Mdoda and Uyanda Mbuli engaged in a heated war of words over the issue of mental health.
The topic has been the subject of many discussions on social media since the passing of music icon, HHP.
Briefly.co.za previously learned that the late rapper struggled with depression and attempted suicide on multiple occasions.
Uyanda created quite a stir on Twitter when she commented that she has been educating people about mental health long before it became ‘fashionable’.
After reading her tweet, Anele fired back by pointing out that views like that could be quite dangerous to anyone who struggles with their mental health.
Anele also believes that Uyanda should be happy with the amount of attention that the topic has been receiving as it makes the public more willing to open up about their own experiences.
Soon after, things got personal as Uyanda took a dig at the reasons behind Anele’s exit from ‘Real Talk' and boasted that she had achieved more success in her career.
According to the Daily Sun, Thembisa Mdoda also stepped in to back up her sister by calling Uyanda’s tweet “unnecessary”. This only escalated the feud further.
