The MTV EMAs took place this past weekend and it was lit. Our home grown honey, Nadia Nakai, represented Mzansi as she took the spot as the red carpet host.

Briefly.co.za learnt that the event took place yesterday and was held in Bilboa, Spain. Celebs from all over the globe flocked to Spain for the awards.

Nadia was invited by MTV Base to be a host at the event. It was her first time in Spain, but she absolutely loved it, reported Times Live.

Our gurl looked fire in a stunning sparkly gown. Nadia’s gown was definitely the star of the show. I mean, how could you walk past that?

A-list celebs walked that red carpet flat. Nadia got to rub shoulders with the likes of Hailee Steinfeld, Matt Bellamy, Lindsay Lohan, Ashlee Simpson, Bebe Rexha, Dua Lipa, Alessia Cara, Little Mix, DJ David Guetta and many more.

The Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Spain was transformed into a celebrity hotspot for the night. Nadia got to interview A-list celebs as they walked down the red carpet into the event.

Nadia stated that she had always watched the awards at home and wished she could be there. Being a host has definitely become one of her career peaks.

She did Mzansi proud, as always. Nadia’s career is booming and we cannot wait to see what else she has in store for the future.
